Who is your independent auditor?
Ernst & Young was appointed as Group auditor at the Annual General Meeting in April 2002. The appointment of the auditor is for one year, renewable annually.
What currency are your financial statements prepared?
Our consolidated financial results are prepared in US dollars in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”).
When does the next Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) take place?

What are your key financial targets?
For the full year 2008, we expect:
- Sales growth of at least 10%
- Earnings per share * (EPS) growth likely to exceed 20%
- Return on invested capital to exceed 20%.
* Fully diluted, excluding 2007 non-recurring income, restructuring, impairment and share repurchase program.
What levels of cash do you return to your shareholders?
We plan to return up to $1 billion in 2008 through a combination of dividends and share buyback. The total cash return for the period 2004-2007 was $2.7 billion.
What do you pay to your shareholders in the form of dividends?
The dividend paid in 2007 was CHF 3.80 and was paid in 2 parts; a cash dividend of CHF 1.60 which was paid on 7 May and a par value reduction of CHF 2.20 which took place on 24 July.
The 2008 dividend is CHF 4.80 and was paid in cash on 25 April 2008.
What is your Weighted Average Cost of Capital (“WACC”)?
Our WACC is estimated at approximately 8%.
